The aim of the article was to serve as an overview of environmental sustainability for a target audience of those that have heard of the issues but don’t know the core concepts of how we got here and why we can’t get out so easily. The format was chosen as I feel it is the most accessible for those who just want to quickly read up on the issue. I feel the article serves its purpose to be a short and digestible beginners guide to a topic that is brought up often but rarely ever explained.
